The company, based in northern Italy, is active in production of polymers whose aim is to enrich soils in agriculture with benefits in water retention & release, plants nutrition and crop yields. The company is currently seeking to establish a technical cooperation agreement and a research cooperation agreement with interested counterparts.


The company is an Italian innovative start-up founded in 2016, whose mission is to contribute to soils improvement in agriculture ensuring   environmental sustainability. The products developed are polymers based on Polyacrylamide Anionic which are to be utilized in agriculture, particularly suitable for soils improvement in their heathy status. Thanks to the miniaturized structures (in the range of 50 – 150 micron) of the polymers, its application is much more beneficial than granules available on the market, in terms of soils absorption and activation of all beneficial properties. Its utilization indeed allows for an extremely high prevention of erosion of soils, ensuring its optimal humidity through an efficient system of water penetration, retention, and release for plants’ roots. The product contributes as well to caption of essential minerals to the plant’s lifecycle, thus enhancing the overall crops’ yields and stabilizing the soils structures.  
The product application is easy-to-use, fitting current modern agricultural practices in irrigation, due to the miniaturized structures it is composed of, which make it suitable to be mixed with water for irrigation, and for optimal soil absorption. The product is also available as a mixable gel use.
The company is currently seeking for an industrial partner to enhance its production capacity, in view to establish technical cooperation agreements with counterparts active in the production fields of agriculture, fruits and vegetables, soils preservation and sustainability, biofertilizers and treatment of water for irrigation.
The company is also looking for a partnership to participate in joint EU funded research projects in the same topics

Advantages and Innovations

The product is innovative and versatile as it is suitable for all types of soils and crops. A major field of innovation relies on the significant watering reduction, due to the characteristics of as its water permeability (up to 55% higher), retention and gradual release which results in cost decrease and water preservation. Its utilization allows to absorb water and nutrients already present in soil 300 times compared to its weight. It also enables the fertilizers’ efficacy by 43%. The product is biodegradable and eco-friendly as it fits the “Food Grade” category of the FDA in the United States, therefore enabling it to be considered as organic polymer. As a result, the heathy state of soil is improved in fertility, prevention of erosion and overall yields are enhanced. 
The company is positioning to play a role in nature-friendly agriculture in line with Farm to Fork strategies for soil conservation and enrichment, with a long-term vision for product development
