Description

The Ukrainian company from the agro-food and food field seeks technology of express diagnostics of pesticides’ presence in fruits and vegetables. 
The ultimate goal of this project is to develop an express method of detection of pesticides by developing nanosensors and providing real-time data to a customer through the IoT platform.
The required parameters for the developing system:
• time: quick, up to 20 minutes results, max. 2 hours with sample preparations;
• appearance: related should be mobile (up to 10 kg), should be allowed to use in the field (within the 0-40 °C temperature range and up to the humidity of 100% ). Of course, it could be also used as stationary;
• usability: up to 20 tests should be done with one charge of the infrastructure;
• IoT: There should be also a central server system storing the data and results of the tests;
• cost: in order to be competitive in the market the value of the mass production of sample preparation and biosensor have to be below 1$.
To achieve the abovementioned purpose the company seeks partners in order to establish the technical cooperation agreement or the license agreement to electrochemical or optical biosensor technology to implement it in their IoT system.

Expertise sought

The required parameters for substances that are to be detected in fruits and vegetables with the desired level of MRR recognizing:
• Chlorpiryfos (MRL: 0,01 mg/kg)
• Flonicamid (MRL: 0,03 mg/kg)
• Ditiokarbaminian (dithiocarbamate) (MRL: 0,01 mg/kg)

Requested partner

The company seeks industry/academic/research organizations or SMEs for cooperation with the goal of developing the express method of pesticide detection in fruits and vegetables by developing nanosensors and providing real-time data to a customer through the IoT platform. To achieve this goal the company is looking for a partnership under technical cooperation agreement or license agreement to electrochemical or optical biosensor technology to implement it in the IoT system.
