The Good Practice “Permanent Virtual Platform “Innovation in Environment, Energy and Circular Economy” as supported by Innosuisse and Swiss EEN – has won the best practice category, “Client support” as voted by the Enterprise Europe Network members.

This Good Practice demonstrated the Network’s ability to provide EEN core services even in a world-wide crisis, upgrading them by using innovative digital solutions and working together across different thematic EEN groups. The EEN Brokerage Event service – usually taking place on-site – was completely revised to ensure ongoing business opportunities for the network’s clients. The result is a virtual partnering and knowledge platform, including webinars and information material.

Strong interest from clients in the EU and worldwide confirmed the approach. Due to the positive feedback, the two EEN Sector Groups Intelligent Energy and Environment and the EEN Thematic Group Circular Economy decided to keep the virtual matchmaking and knowledge platform continuously open until end of 2021. Currently, nearly 1,400 participants from 57 countries are registered and thousands of meetings have taken place.
