Summary

A Spanish Research Centre specialized in energy is seeking a company to participate in a Eurostars-2 project that aims to develop a virtual holistic platform for industrial energy production management and planning. The role of the partner sought will be to develop and test an ICT tool that combines certain functionalities for the optimal sale of power of the industries or group of industries involved, either for consumers or prosumers.

Description

A Spanish research centre specialized in energy together with an ICT SME is preparing a proposal to be submitted before the next cut-off of Eurostars-2 programme. 



The aim of the project is to develop a virtual holistic platform for industrial energy-production management and planning. This ICT Business Intelligence (BI) platform has an information and communication infrastructure, and digital ubiquitous energy-production interfaces. Its main functionalities are:



a) Communication between  the energy and production management and monitoring systems (ERPs, Enterprise Resource Planning) of industrial plants to obtain  the main plant indicators of each type of system



b) By means of a series of energy algorithms (intelligent analysis, energy prediction and demand management),  deduction of the best actions for the modelling and simulation of different energetic-productive methods (virtual scenarios) in which  the following issues will be analysed in an optimal way: 

1) the best production strategy and product planning depending on its impact on the energy use,  

2) the best type of power supply, its use, and the integration of renewable energies, and

3) the best way of managing the efficiency of the involved production processes. 



c) Deduction, in combination with previous inferred energy strategies, of the optimal trade of power of the industries (or group of industries) involved in the ECOPLANNER concept. 



The Spanish organizations already in the consortium are a research center specialized in energy and an ICT SME. 



The partner sought can be a SME or a large company related to industrial energy market activities. 



Their role will be to develop and test an ICT tool that combines various functionalities that should be implemented in order to optimize the sale of power of the industries (or group of industries) involved, whether they be consumers or prosumers.
