Summary

A Spanish SME, specialized in educational technologies, is preparing a Eurostars proposal for the development of an educational platform adapted to children with any kind of physical or mental impairment (visual, intellectual, hearing and motor disabilities). In order to carry out the project, a partner with expertise in voice recognition technologies is sought.

Description

The Spanish company holds wide experience in the development of educational technologies such as an adaptive learning platform for kids that have been granted by the SME Instrument (Phase I and Phase II), and is currently being used worldwide.



Currently, there are not integral educational digital solutions in the market that address the needs of children with psysical or mental impairment (visual, intellectual, hearing and motor disabilities), as well as specific content for kids with different kind of impairments. 



In this context, the Spanish company is looking for developing a digital educational platform for children with physical and mental impairment with the following features:



-Interactive activities (apps), videos and podcasts for learning with a 360 view (curriculum content, neuro-education (cognitive skills) and multiple intelligence and learning languages.

- Analytics and recommendation model leveraging artificial intelligence providing recommendation and feedback on similar content that a user likes, content for areas where a user is stronger or content for areas where a user is weaker.

-Languages: to be defined but including at least English, Spanish , Portuguese and French.

-Features such as voice recognition,  voice over, special design for assets (e.g. With contrast and larger for visual or motor disability).

-Different default modes that will adapt the content and proposed aids for navigation, other. It would include visual, intellectual, hearing and motor disabilities) to have at least 6 different configurations others by age. E.g. For a visual disability 6 to 8 years old  ad-hoc navigation modes for specific needs (e.g. For Visual disabilities model)



Voice recognition has a key role in this project. Because of that, the Spanish company is looking for partners specialized in speech recognition with a software that can be integrated with a digital platform, is multi-language and ideally can work offline.



The deadline for the Eurostars proposal submission is on the 12th September and the deadline for expressions of interest is the 21th July.

The partner sought must be located in a country eligible for Eurostars projects.
