Description

French, Paris-based SME with 30 employes and 800 customers in the automotive sector offers cloud based IT network solution matching the needs of small companies (ie.boutiques, restaurants, hotels) that wish to invest in digital marketing tools, but cannot afford the costs of an elaborate IT infrastructure.



Its equipement is deployed over 2000 sites (mainly Renault and Volkswagen Group sales points) in France, Germany, Portugal, Spain and Italy. The offer addresses points of sale, where connectivity of tablets, electronic cash desks, professionnal diagnostic kits is required at a high bandwidth and low latency.



Its solutions satisfy high bandwidth and low latency needs in the traffic of large data packets and real-time applications. In particular, the company considers traffic between mobile devices (tablets, smartphones) and high-end digital infrastructure (cloud computers, management platforms orchestrating logistics, sensor/IoT (Internet of things) devices, collecting, processing and distributing imaging data, …).



The SME can help with building and/or securing the network infrastructure. The company is expert in securing data connections between distant sites by means of network isolation and appropriate routing. This ensures that data are shared only by the parties concerned, tailored to the  data privacy requirements. The French firm can also provide end-to-end connectivity including  WiFi access points and ethernet interfaces to local or remote infrastructure.

The company has a long experience in serving the automotive sector and is currently launching a new product. The latter is targeting small and medium-sized shops that wish to increase their customer experience by offering them a WiFi hotspot with configurable captive portal and landing page that is used also as a marketing tool for the retailer. This solution is being developped in the framework of a European project. The project intends to provide small and medium-sized retailers the infrastructure to become THE PLACE to buy for the people that don't want to lose the advantages of in-store purchasing at the same time that they want to experiment the advantages of eCommerce; comparison of prices, choice of providers, reviews and specification awareness, etc.

Academic and industry partners wishing to collaborate in European R&D projects on 5G, cybersecurity, cloud computing, hardware-accelerated network, embedded systems, artificial intelligence and IoT scenarios that require the use of IT communication protocols (WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee,…).
