They are looking for start-ups from Europe to co-develop and implement the technology under a technical cooperation agreement or commercial agreement with technical assistance.

Description

As part of a regional program in Tyrol, three Austrian companies are looking for start-ups from Europe and beyond. The medium sized companies are manufactures of traditional industrial products such as tools, ductile cast iron systems and motor engines. The companies are looking for visualization technologies to improve product and process quality. 



The Austrian companies are looking for start-ups that can offer solutions for real time monitoring and immediate error recognition of production processes in order to minimize downtime. Potential partners should offer augmented and/or mixed reality solutions for different use case scenarios in industrial production process. 



With the proposed solution workers should be able to receive remote work instructions or process guidance using augmented and/or mixed reality technologies. Another possible application could be teaching new employees in augmented reality environment by learning new tasks in a playful manner. 



The companies are open to any type of solution (proof of concept, prototype or already on the market) from European start-ups to implement augmented and/or mixed reality solutions into their production process. Envisaged cooperation types are technical cooperation agreements or commercial agreements with technical assistance. 



IMPORTANT NOTE: This technology request is part of a regional program to connect start-ups with industry and is published until the 17th of June 2019 (Deadline for EOIs). If a start-up does express interest and can offer a solution to the Austrian companies, it will be guided towards a selection process. Selected start ups will be invited (including a financial support) to a matching day from 9th to 10th of July where they can pitch their solutions directly to the companies in Austria.

The Austrian companies are looking for remote maintenance solutions to improve product and process quality by using augmented and/or mixed reality technology adressing the following elements:



- realtime process pattern and error recognition

- teaching employees in augmented reality environment 

- learning new tasks in a playful manner

Requested partner

The Austrian companies are looking for start-ups from Europe and beyond. Potential partners offer solutions in the field of augmented and/or mixed reality to improve product and process quality. 



The Austrian companies want to work with start-ups as equal partners, under shared IP conditions, in the form of a technical cooperation agreement or commercial agreement with technical assistance (depending on the Technology Readiness Level of the respective technology) to implement the technology into their production process.
