They have advised and supported numerous financial institutions and industrial corporations within the aerospace and defence, energy/oil & gas, technology, manufacturing and logistics in managing major integrity and reputational risks associated with their business activities. Their services range from initial scans to risk assessments and comprehensive designs and tests of effectiveness.

Definition of the request
Medium sized firms are facing difficulties in adhering to cross-border trade compliance obligations such as tax, customs and VAT, sanctions, export controls, corruption and bribery and other finance and economic crime risks. Assessments of these risks are a major hurdle for these medium sized firms in terms of costs, effort and proper understanding. In the ever-changing industry with increased regulations and a strive for efficiency, automated solutions are inevitable.

The Dutch organization is eager to create an automated solution that may help in assessing the validity of third parties and third party transactions in order to protect the small, medium sized companies and to improve their international trade compliance and security.

Cooperation with partners would be in the frame of a research cooperation agreement or a technical cooperation agreement.
