Description

A Spanish company is working in the design and development of hybrid (both thermal and photovoltaic) solar panels. Its staff comes from a previous company and has a wide experience in this sector and technology. Currently, they have commercialised the most profitable panel in the market. In order to be in the edge of the innovation related to this technology and improve its profitability and efficiency, they intend to develop new models with better characteristics than the current ones.



The staff of the company has wide experience in developing European funded R&D projects. The company is preparing a project proposal for the next Eurostars-2 call (CoD 9). The aim of the project is to develop a new model with increased size and power output. They are looking for partners specialised in any of the manufacturing processes of the solar panels, including crystal silicon layers, polymer adhesives, heat absorbers (from a range of different technologies) and glasses. These partners could be manufacturing companies or R&D centres involved in any of the components of the panels.



These partners should work in the optimisation of the characteristics of the panel (its design, its materials, or both aspects at the same time) in order to reach the efficiency and design optimisation targets.
